**** Notice for Logitech Mouse Users *****
Version 6.4 of the Logitech mouse driver has a bug which
will not let it change video pages. This causes the mouse
to disappear about 50% of the time while playing Aethra. I
recommend getting a slightly older or fixed version from
Logitech.

To install the program insert the install disk %26 type INSTALL after
installation to run the game change to the game directory and type GAME.
WARNING: if you are using disk caching software make sure Disk Writes are
disabled. The game may become unpredictable with write cache on.
Instructions are online. Be sure and read the instructions they contain
important information on how to play the game.

Short Description: A fantasy role-playing game with High Resolution
16 Color EGA/VGA graphics
Long Description: The Aethra Chronicles is a fantasy role playing game
similar in style to Ultima and Bards Tale. The player is on a
quest to discover who has kidnapped the newborn prince and why.
The game starts with the player creating his character and two
companions. Additional companions may be hired or found at some
point in the game. The quest will take the characters to every
town and village in the land. Many fearsome creatures will have
to be faced. There are over a hundred different monsters from
the lowly Giant Rat to the fearsome Red Dragon.
VENDOR LICENSING AGREEMENT:
All shareware vendors are granted a limited license to distribute this
software, subject to the following requirements:
* Only charge a fee for distribution not to exceed $10.
* No modification to any files is allowed. You may include a .bat file
to assist in installation.
* You clearly explain that this software is shareware.
* You must mention Michael Lawrence in any catalog desriptions and/or box
packing associated with our shareware.
